I have been Head at St. Andrew’s since September 2017. This is my first Headship and prior to this I was Deputy Head at a school in Buckinghamshire. I have also taught in schools in Slough and Feltham, and I spent 4 years living and teaching in New Zealand.

Andrew moved to become Team Rector of Uxbridge Parish and Vicar of St Andrew’s in November 2018. Prior to that he was Rector of Marlborough, Wiltshire for 16 years and Rural Dean of Marlborough Deanery for ten.
In October 2017, he was appointed as a Chaplain to the Queen and he remains a Canon Emeritus of Salisbury Cathedral.
He has had 16 years of experience as a Governor of a Primary School and six years as a Director of a Multi-Academy Trust. Andrew is passionate about encouraging schools to explore both the way that faith helps give perspective in life and to engage with the spiritual element in all human experience.
After graduating from Oxford and prior to ordination 29 years ago, Andrew worked for an independent magazine (1980-81), a firm of stock brokers in the City (1981-83) and as a research assistant to two MPs (1983-85).

I was ordained in September 2020 following 2 years theological training at Ripon college, Cuddesdon. Prior to that I enjoyed a twenty career in headhunting/senior recruitment in London with two leading international firms.
