Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Welcome to EYFS
In EYFS we provide a rich, well-resourced learning environment, both indoors and out, making full use of the school grounds and facilities. We have a dedicated area of the school with a large, open classrooms, and an outdoor area that is shared by Nursery and Reception.
Children learn through a mixture of play based and adult-led activities across the curriculum, and no two days are ever the same! The Early Years provision is run by qualified teachers along with the support of experienced teaching assistants. All are experts in delivering Early Years education. Close links with parents and carers are maintained to ensure excellent progress.
Prospective parents and carers are welcome to come and have a look around to see Yew class (Nursery) and Holly class (Reception) in action and get a feel for what sessions are like in practice. If you would like to visit, please contact the office to arrange a tour. We look forward to welcoming you and your child.
Best wishes
Mrs Vicky Christy, EYFS Lead, and Mrs Amanda Spicksley, Class Teacher
