Pedestrian Training
On Thursday 10th November Year 2 and 3 took part in Pedestrian Training. To begin with they revised some of the key messages from the Green Cross code and learned about the importance of crossing the road safely. Then in small groups the children walked along Nursery Waye and found a safe place to cross. The pupils then practised crossing the road safely, before crossing they said the slogan Stop, Look, Listen, and Think before you cross the road! The children thoroughly enjoyed the training and now gave a better understanding of how to cross the road safely.
